New York based, Ethiopian born and Swedish raised celebrity chef Marcus Samuelson has brought his restaurant concept Kitchen & Table to several Scandinavian cities.

 

In cooperation with Clarion Hotels, he will launch this concept in all the Clarion hotels both in Norway and Sweden. At the moment the restaurant count is 19.

 

The concept is to combine local produce with his Manhattan inspiration and recepies. On the menu you will find both Bergen Specials like ”catch of the day” and Manhattan Classics like burgers and steaks or a vegetarian dish

 

The Bergen version is located inside Clarion Hotel Admiral, about 150 meters from the Fish market in Bergen.

 

From the windows of the restaurant, you have panorama view of Bryggen and the historic area Bergenhus with Haakons Hall and the Rosenkranz Tower.

 

Enter the restaurant through the reception and lounge/bar area of the hotel, where you can read about the celebrity chef on different chalkboards throughout the area.

 

The design is Scandinavian inspired with light leather chairs and sofas and dark tables. The kitchen - or at least parts of it - is located inside of the restaurant.

 

The restaurant is open from 1800 to 2230 Monday to Saturday and until 2100 on Sundays.
